COURSE CANCELLATIONS - If our office, due to low enrollment (min. requirement of 4 students for a class), weather, or other unforeseen circumstances must cancel a course, you will be notified and rescheduled at no additional cost.
REFUNDS - Any change must be done at least three (3) working days prior to the start of the course. A $10 administrative fee will be charged for changes made less than 3 days to the start of the course. There are no refunds without proper notice.
TRAVEL FEES - We will train world wide! Contact our service center for more information. Pacific Training Services is an on-site training facility based out of Federal Way, WA and will travel up to 20 miles out of our area at no charge. For more than 20 miles, a nominal fee will be charged. Contact our service center for more information.
Basic
$45 per person
Class length - 6 hours
Student must be at least 13 years old
This is a combined basic first aid and adult CPR course. The Basic program teaches the minimum information and skills a first aid provider must know and be able to perform to provide effective emergency care to an injured or ill person before professional medical care is available. Some of the elements taught in this course are scene safety, patient responsiveness, adult CPR, control of bleeding, managing shock, managing specific first aid problems, emergency moves, emotional impact of providing care and more. This course meets OSHA requirements.

Basic Plus
$55 per person
Class length - 7 hours
Student must be at least 13 years old
This is a combined basic first aid, adult CPR and AED for course. The minimum information and skills a first aid provider must know and be able to perform to provide effective emergency care to an injured or ill person before professional medical care is available is taught. In addition, it also includes training on the use of an automated external defibrillator, or AED. The AED training portion meets state and local level training requirements for lay providers.

Care Plus
$35 per person
Class length - 3.5 hours
Student must be at least 13 years old
This is a CPR course for the lay rescuer. The course teaches CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) use for adults, children and infants. This course can be divided into several different catagories: CPR for adults, CPR and AED for adults, CPR for adults, children and infants, CPR and AED for adults, children and infants. Students will learn how to perform resuscitation for patients of all ages, as well as those who are unresponsive or choking. This course does not meet OSHA requirements unless it is combined with a first aid class.

Retraining

Student must be at least 13 years old
If you have had a MEDIC FIRST AID®, or other nationally recognized course, within the past 24 months you may take the retraining course. You will view the video segments and work through various scenarios.

Challenge
$35 Per Person
Class length 2 hours
Student must be at least 13 years old
Individuals who possess a significant understnading of the program material can challenge the course. A challenge is a graded evaluation of knowledge and skill with no instructon involved. An individual must successfully complete a random set of Performance Evaluations and a Written Knowledge Review.

This supplement must be added to either the Basic or Basic Plus course.

Student must be at least 13 years old
This supplement includes infant/child CPR. You will learn infant and child emergency skills that will prepare you to care for patients eight years old and younger.

Emergency Oxygen
This supplement must be added to either the Basic or Basic Plus course.
Add $15 per person to either the Basic or Basic Plus course
Add 1.5 hours to either the Basic or Basic Plus course
You will learn the importance of introducing oxygen as a part of the care for an ill or injured patient. You will learn how to introduce emergency oxygen to both a breathing and non-breathing patient.

Blood Borne Pathogens
This supplement must be added to either the Basic or Basic Plus course.

This supplement is designed to train employees who have a significant health risk of occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious bodily fluids and materials. Meets OSHA requirements.

Basic Life Support for the Professional (BLSPro)
$75 per person
Class length - 6-8 hours
This course is designed to help individuals meet health care level CPR training requirements. This program offers adult, child and infant skills as well as management of basic life support emergencies.

Not an instructor but want to be? 3 easy steps can get you there.
- Attend and successfully complete student-level training for the programs you wish to teach. If you currently possess these skills, you've already completed Step One!
- Watch the self-study video in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace. The video explains the nuts and bolts of the MEDIC FIRST AID® instructional design and basic class administration.
- Finally, you will become skilled in presenting the instructional elements, including real-time demonstrations, small group practices, talk-through scenarios, and performance evaluations.
